For more than 100 years, 4-H Canada has been one of the most highly respected positive youth development organizations in the country. We are focused on the goal of helping young Canadians "Learn To Do By Doing" in a safe, inclusive and fun environment.
Today, with the support of 7,700 caring volunteer leaders, 4-H Canada delivers relevant programming to 25,000 youth in the areas of agriculture, food security, science, technology, environmental sustainability, healthy living, communications and community engagement.
83% of 4-H youth members live in rural and agricultural communities. 4-H understands more than any other youth development organization the challenges and needs facing young people in rural Canada and is uniquely positioned to address the needs of youth living in these communities. In many communities across Canada, 4-H is the hub where youth have the opportunity to explore programming and activities and develop their leadership skills.
