Charitable Giving

Curator's Note

We all know that giving helps others but studies have shown that it can actually boost your physical and mental health. In fact, studies have reported lower blood pressure, reduced stress levels and a surge in our feel-good neurotransmitters when we give of ourselves to others. I guess there’s some scientific proof behind “the joy of giving."

Details

The Breast Cancer Society is a national organization with family roots. It was established in 1991 by Lawrence and Kay Greenaway, in memory of their daughter Pam who died of breast cancer at 38 years old. She left behind two small children and a loving husband. The Greenaway and Kohlmeier families positively transformed their deep loss into a mission to raise money to fund the research to cure this devastating disease.

Today, Pam's legacy to fund breast cancer research is saving lives. Please help realize the family's hope for a cure by donating or participating in one of our events!
